The preventive measures for the handling of products derived from petroleum are:
Use the proper equipment to avoid unnecessary contact.
After skin contact do not wash with fuels, turpentine or solvents. Use detergents without water or soft osaps with warm water and a soft brush. Use clean towels, but no dirty clothes.
Immediatly remove all cantaminated clothing. Use a Protective hand lotion while working. Wash your hands and arms after working and before eating.
In case of injury ask for medical assistance.
Do not breathe vaporus or mist.
Maintain the working area clean.
Clean spills as soon as posible, and prevent them from entering storm sewers or drains and from contact with soil.
